Red Hot Shot
Yield: 8 shots.
Ingredients
- 16 whole cinnamon sucking candies
- 2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 lemon wedge
- 1/2 cup cinnamon schnapps
- 1/2 cup silver tequila
- hot sauce
Method
- Place 8 cinnamon disks in food processor and pulse until finely ground. Place cinnamon dust on small plate and stir in salt. Run lemon wedge around the edge of 8 shot glasses and dip them into the cinnamon salt mixture.
- In a cocktail shaker filled 1/2 way up with ice, add cinnamon schnapps and tequila. Shake well and pour into prepared shot glasses. Top off with a dash of hot sauce and enjoy! Use cinnamon sucker as a chaser.
