Overview

The series is presented by seasoned television personality and health and fitness guru, Stacey Holland. During the course of the series we don’t just explore how diet, exercise and lifestyle all contributes to a healthier mind, body and soul, but by delving a little deeper we go to the root of what happens on a biological, physiological and psychological level when healthy living is practiced holistically. We further offer viewers diverse approaches to health that suites different lifestyles, personalities and believes, for instance conventional Western medical solutions, Eastern disciplines that’s been practiced for thousands of years, modern nutritional viewpoints, age old remedies, your-are-what-you-eat solutions, fitness regimes and much more. Each episode aims to inspire, transform and enlighten.

17 – 23 Sept: Episode 2

This week on Real Health, we discuss the causes of heart failure and ways to improve cardiovascular health, Lifestyle chef, Izelle Hoffmann prepares festive chicken kebabs using anti-inflammatory ingredients; we find out more about inflammaging and its effects on our wellbeing, we look at ways to combat emotional eating as well as managing portion size for weight loss. We explore the benefits of Vitamin B12 and the best ways to supplement it and finally we unpack polycystic ovarian syndrome and how it can be managed holistically.

10 – 16 Sept: Episode 1

This week on Real Health; we look at the medicinal and cleansing benefits of Dandelion. We explore the effects of Oestrogen dominance and how it can be holistically treated. We discuss the causes, symptoms of Candida, as well as natural solutions to treat it. We find out how to manage pain with nutritional changes. We discuss respiratory infections in children and how they can be managed. There’s also a new weight loss series we’ll be launching with an inspiring weight loss story of Sanet McAdam.
