Requirements

  • 3 sheets of coloured paper
  • Glue
  • Curling paper knife/Kebab stick
  • Scan n Cut machine or scissors
  • Flower template

Instructions

Step 1:

Download the flower template/pattern scan it into the machine and follow the on screen instructions. Cut out the different pattern parts (A to E) on the paper of your choice. Follow the link for all your downloads http://welcome.brother.com/za-en/products-services/ScanNCut/scanncutcanvas.html

Step 2:

Use the curling paper knife to curl the stem (E), and glue the end so that it keeps it’s form. Twist the petals as shown in the photograph, and glue them along the dashed lines. Curl petals (A), (B), (C), and (D) inwards, but curl their tips outwards.

step2

Step 3:

Glue petals (A) and (B) so that they overlap adjoining petals, as shown in the photograph. Spread petal (B) out wider than (A) for a more beautiful flower. Pass the stem (E) from below through petals (A), (B), (C), and (D) in that order, and attach the stem (E) to petal (D) using the tab.

Step 4:

Adjust the petal shape and orientation for the most beautiful design. Attach assembled flowers to a box or basket of your choice.
