Oriental Fish Salad

Hake Noodle salad with an Oriental dressing- Heart Mark approved.

What you need

Total Time: 20 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 portions of Sea Harvest Simply Steam- Roasted Garlic & Black Pepper
  • 1 Red pepper, finely sliced
  • 1 Green pepper, finely sliced
  • 200 g Mange touts, finely sliced
  • 8 Green Onion, sliced and refreshed in iced water
  • 250 g Soba or Egg noodles
  • DRESSING:
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Olive oil
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Sesame oil
    • 2 tbsp (30 ml) Soy sauce
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Rice vinegar
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) Mirin (rice wine- sake)
    • 1 tbsp (15 ml) castor Sugar

METHOD:

1)    Cook the noodle as per instructions in the packaging.

2)    In the meantime, place the portions of Simply Steam on a microwave-safe plate. Ensure that the seal faces upwards and the seasoning is on top. Cook for suggested times (refer to pack) and allow to stand for 1 minute after cooking before carefully removing from the pouch.

3)    Whisk the dressing ingredients together.

4)    Toss the noodles, vegetables and fish together and serve immediately.
