Mulled Chardonnay Apples
Yield: 4 – 6 servings
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and cut into chunks
- 1 bottle Chardonnay
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup golden raisins
- Place all the ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan and bring to a simmer.
- Continue cooking, allowing the liquid to reduce until the apples are tender, the raisins are plump and the liquid has become a saucy syrup.
- Serve warm or cold over your favourite ice cream.
