Love Shelf

Bosch Logo - Invented for life Res Eureka-fasten-and-fix-it-logo

This is an easy project so I will add in the compound mitre saw as a new tool and we will cut all planks to size.

Then as an added little project I will take the watering jug planter and make it smaller as a pencil holder for the shelf.

We can also show how to attach it onto the wall using the laser line to make sure its straight.

You will need:

Tools Materials
Jigsaw plus guide 20mm pine (planed all round) 150 wide we will cut the length to size on set
Router 2 x 2400 mm boards
PEX 300 sander (New one) 9mm ply wood 600 x 600mm – 1 piece (or nearest size)
PSR 18 cordless drill driver 4 x 40 screws
PST Jigsaw and guide wood filler to match stain.
PFS Spray gun Stain (a colour stain would look nice and add to the fun of the shelf)
Compound Mitre saw PCM 7 (will bring a machine with) Clear varnish (Water based)
PSM Sander Wood glue
PCM 20 Laser level (If you don’t have get from Ebenezer)
Electric stapler – NB ask Davinia for nails. 11-14mm long

Steps to build it

  1. Cut all the sizes.
  2. Assemble from “E” upwards
  3. Cut 45 deg for the “V”
  4. Assemble the “O and L”
  5. Sand
  6. Stain – I think pink, light blue or purple etc might add to the fun of the project. If they don’t have stain then get paint tinters and we add in colour like that.
  7. Varnish
