Overview

HOUSE VS. HOUSE is a home makeover competition series where amateur and experienced renovation teams compete for the chance to win $10,000 by proving they can create the better DIY projects in their home. From painting and decorating, to one-of-a-kind, imaginative projects ? in each episode, two teams will go head-to-head in grueling home makeover challenges. Tanya McQueen, a known expert in DIY design, and David Brian Sanders, an architect and designer, will determine which team completes the most impressive transformation and award the cash prize.

 

19 – 25 March: Episode 10 – Jessica/Mike vs. Denise/Jason

Competing couples take on two DIY home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars.  Jessica and Mike use a wine barrel to create a custom coffee table. Denise and Jason create a decoupage wall using pages from a dictionary.

Episode 9 – Betsy/Hank vs. Kristine/Darwin

Betsy and Hank attempt a dual-purpose carpentry project that hides their exterior laundry machines and converts into a poolside cabana. Kristine and Darwin convert a wooden palette into an exterior plant holder and build an al fresco dining table. Competing couples take on two DIY home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars

Episode 8 Mary Kate/Chris vs. Carrie/Doug 

Mary Kate and Chris devise a floor plan for their garage that includes a gym, a gentlemen’s study, and a screening room. Carrie and Doug attempt a DIY project that functions as both a cover for their laundry machines and a bar.

Episode 7 – Hannah/Ben vs. Catherine/Travis

Hannah and Ben draw harsh criticism from the judges when they choose not to paint their living room. Catherine and Travis create unique wall art using old jeans in a picture frame.

Episode 6 –  Brittany/Matt vs. Laura/Mike

Brittany builds a custom TV unit and hopes it’s enough to overcome Matt’s botched crown moulding installation.  Laura and Mike butt heads when deciding how to transform a surprise item from the judges.

Episode 5 – Carey/Jeremy vs. Michelle/Jonathan

Carey and Jeremy require two days to resurface a wall with reclaimed wood. Michelle and Jonathan hope that converting an old suitcase into a chair will impress the judges.

Episode 4 – Eva/Ian vs. Roshawnda/Chelsea

Competing couples take on two DIY home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars.  Eva and Ian have to consider abandoning one of their three major carpentry projects when time runs out.  Roshawnda and Chelsea use old books to create a custom headboard.

Episode 3 – Krystal/Craig vs. Michelle/Jason

Competing couples take on two DIY home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars.  Krystal and Craig use a bold color palette in their living room that leaves the judges guessing. Michelle and Jason hope that their attempt at a never-before-seen DiY project pays off.

Episode 2 – Anna Rose/Matt vs. Portia/Errol

Portia and Errol hope their chances of winning aren’t in jeopardy after breaking a major rule of the competition. Anna Rose and Matt attempt a stencil wall design that goes horribly wrong. Competing couples take on two DIY home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars

Episode 1– Nikki/Mac vs. Lisa/Nick

Competing Couples take on two DIY Home makeover challenges, without any outside help, for a chance to win $10,000 dollars. Lisa Worries that Nick’s Perfectionism will prevent them from finishing built–‐in bookshelves. Nikki And Mac Choose a Hollywood Regency Theme for their living room, but will the judges think they went too far?
