Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Kebab

Serves : 6

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
  • Zest of 1 lemon, grated
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 Tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
  • 1 pinch of red pepper
  • salt and pepper
  • 6 wooden skewer, soaked in water 30 minutes
  • 1 lemon cut in 6 pieces

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix shrimp, zest, oil and red pepper.  Thread the shrimps on the skewer, season with salt and pepper
  2. Refrigerate 10 minutes
  3. Preheat barbecue at high heat or preheat ridged skillet
  4. Grill skewers at high heat for approximately 1 minute each side.  Serve with a piece of lemon on a rectangular plate.
