- 6-8 ripe purple prune plums, halved
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (30 g)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (8 g)
- Pinch salt
- ½ lemon, grated rind
- Cut plums in half and remove pits.
- Place in a baking dish skin side down and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon and grate a little lemon zest over the top.
- Roast at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until soft (177 C)
- Serve over warm bread that has been buttered or ‘buttered and honeyed’.
