Prepare these oranges in advance to allow the flavours to develop. They’re a tangy foil to Vanilla Citrus Terrine  or vanilla ice cream.
Prep time: 10 mins + macerating
- 6 oranges
- 2 tbsp runny honey
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- 2 tbsp currants
- 2 tbsp sherry or rum
- Peel the oranges, removing all pith.
- Cut the flesh into segments and place in a serving bowl.
- Drizzle with runny honey, sugar, currants and sherry or rum and chill for at least an hour or up to 24 hours before serving.
