Floating stepping stone

What you will need:

• An old car tyre
• A drill
• Steel Trowel
• Rubber mallet
• 1 bucket riversand
• 1 bucket stone (small)
• 1/2 bucket cement
• Water
• Cable ties
• Small hammer

What to do:

1. Find an old car tyre, cut into half.  Use cable ties to put the two halves back together again (drill some holes in tyre to thread through the cable ties)
2. Mix 1 bucket of riversand, 1 bucket of stone and ½ a bucket of cement with water.
3. Pour in the concrete into the tyre mould, use a trowel to agitate the mixture and make sure you pack it into the tyre.
4.  Then smooth the down the top with a trowel to create a smooth finish.
5. Leave the mould for 3 – 4 days in the sun to dry.
6. To remove the mould, simply cut off the cable ties.
