Shopping List

Supa wood 16 mm thick. Cut to sizes of:

  • 1 piece of 1000mm x 266mm
  • 1 piece of 1000mm x 250mm
  • 1 piece of 1000mm x 208mm
  • 1 piece of 968 x 208mm
  • 2 pieces of 250mm x 208mm

Pine 20mm thick. Cut to:

  • 4 pieces of 100mm x 600mm
  • 4 pieces of 120mm x 600mm

1 x 4m length of supa wood profile cut to:

  • 2 pieces of 1100mm
  • 2 pieces of 600mm
  • 4 x 40mm screws
  • 4 x 25mm screws

Panel pins

  • 2 hinges of 16mm
  • Wood glue
  • 1 x folding stay (to keep door open)
  • 1 x catch to close door (not magnetic)
  • Water based wood primer
  • Water based paint

Tool List

  • PST 700 E jigsaw
  • PSR 18 cordless drill
  • PSR 14.4 cordless drill
  • PSM 160 sander
  • PEX 220 random orbital sander
  • PFS65 spray gun
  • Bosch compound mitre saw



  1. Mark out on the Top and bottom where the sides will fit on
  2. Drill pilot holes in top and bottom
  3. Glue and fit sides to bottom. (drill small pilot hole where screw goes in)
  4. Repeat for the top
  5. Insert back panel with glue (clamp)
  6. Glue and screw blocks on bottom for legs to fit on.
  7. Fit hinges onto front bottom (drill small pilot holes)
  8. Fit front panel onto hinges.


  1. Draw out pattern and cut out with jigsaw
  2. Repeat for other legs (pre made already)
  3. Draw out where legs join and drill pilot holes
  4. Glue and join legs together to form a left and right side
  5. Fasten onto blocks on the bottom of cupboard


  1. Measure and cut profiles for front panel/door
  2. Glue profiles onto door
  3. Measure and cut profiles for the sides
  4. Glue profile on sides.


  1. Spray primer on cupboard (first inside then outside)
  2. Leave to dry
  3. Repeat with colour paint
