Eggnog warmers

Serves 4 – 6 shot glasses:

Ingredients:

  • 700 ml Milk
  • 500 ml Cream
  • 85 ml Brandy
  • 30 ml Brown Sugar
  • 5 ml Vanilla Essence
  • 2.5 ml Ground Cinnamon
  • 2.5 ml Ground Nutmeg
  • Pinch of Salt

Method:

  1. Mix the milk, cream, brandy and Vanilla essence
  2. Pour into a pot and heat up slowly
  3. Once it reaches simmering point, add the brown sugar, ground Cinnamon, ground Nutmeg and salt
  4. Allow to simmer for 5 – 7 minutes
  5. Pour into glasses and top of with some extra cinnamon
  6. Garnish with some fresh Cinnamon sticks
  7. Serve warm
