LA based Donal Skehan’s cookery series will teach viewers everything they know about modern meals by learning lots of tips, hints and cooking hacks. Donal will be using his skills to give viewers a bullet proof guide to quick cooking, using one pan dinners, 5 ingredient suppers and shop bought cheat meals, while nutritionist Paula Mee provides nutritional information for each dish allowing viewers to make better food choices.
After spending a year on the move in different kitchens around the world, Donal realised the need for quick cooking meals with little equipment for the time strapped modern home cook. This series is the ultimate guide to cooking for home cooks.
02 – 08 Dec Episode 3 – Prepped Meals
When you are faced with the dinner dilemma of what to cook tonight, this episode is here to help you out. By using pre-prepped ingredients, dinner becomes far less hassle and takes the pressure out of feeding the family. In episode three of meals in minutes, Donal shows that by getting ahead and pre-cooking key ingredients like rice, noodles, meats and grains, you can make quick suppers easily in minutes!
Episode 4 – Oven Meals
The true beauty of cooking is finding those recipes which only take minutes to prepare and the rest of the hard work is done in the oven. This episode is all about oven meals and recipes which take minimal prep while producing maximum results. A pasta sauce cooked until tender and caramelised in the oven, a one tray chicken dinner with baked feta, and a rice bake prove that little effort can create incredible dishes.

We can all be accused of coming in from work and just being too tired to get into the kitchen to cook up a meal for ourselves, sometimes it’s hard to even think what you should cook, so in this episode Donal will show viewers some really quick and easy recipes which can be created in a matter of minutes any night of the week, using common ingredients.

When it comes to cooking, most people are looking for something that is quick and easy and doesn’t involve lots and lots of ingredients. Sometimes people just want to use up some store cupboard staples with a few ingredients you’ve picked up in the shop on the way home. Donal loves when he comes across great “go to recipes” and these recipes are exactly that and they’re easy to learn and ones you should put in your repertoire.

Giving you time that you can spend doing whatever you want in the evenings or catching up with friends and family.
