Router | Tray Long sides 700 x 70mm – 2 pieces |
PSR 18 Cordless drill | Tray short sides 350 x 70mm – 2 pieces |
Spray Gun | Legs – 250 x 40mm – 4 pieces |
PSR 10.8 screwdriver | 16mm meranti dowel sticks 450mm long x 4 pieces |
Drill press | 10mm dowel stick – 100mm (it can be pine as well – if you have something very close we can use that) |
Glue gun | Tray – Meranti 18mm thick. 500 x 350mm – 1 piece |

Steps to build your Breakfast Tray & Serviette Holder
Serviette Holder
- Cut out shape – Annalien can make a template then draw that out (I suggest you make one before the day to a pattern you like)
- Sand
- Join sides to bottom
- Paint
- When dry Annalien can glue beads etc to make a pattern on it
Breakfast Tray
- Draw out and measure where sides and inside tray fit together
- Draw out and cut round edges on sides
- Cut dowel stick to size
- Drill holes for dowel sticks
- Cut/drill out holes for dowel sticks on legs to fit in sides
- Assemble all parts for the tray
- Drill holes and fit 10mm dowel sticks for leg stops
- Fill screw holes
- Sand and varnish
