backing board 3 mm white coated masonite. 648 x 880 mm – 1 piece | |
PSM 18 sander | drawer front and back – 302 mm x 195mm – 4 pieces. Edged 1 long side with white thin edging |
drawer sides – 318mm x 195mm – 2 pieces. Edged 1 long side with white thin edging | |
drawer bottom – masonite 3mm – 334 mm x 302mm – 1 piece | |
drawer doors – 302 mm x 198mm – 2 pieces edged all sides | |

Steps to build the Shoe cabinet
- mark out and drill pilot holes where shelves fit on the sides.
- mark out and drill where sides fit to the top and bottom.
- router groove in shelves for perspex.
- assemble
- add on door stops for feet
- attach backing
- slide in perspex.
- cover screws
- Make drawers
- attach sides and front
- attach bottom
- fit door knobs/handles to the front panel
- attach front panel to drawers
- insert into shoe rack.
