
Decorative Floor Lamp
Annalien and Peter make a lamp out of a PVC drain pipe and a strip of LED lights. See how they do this and what tools they use to be inspired to build your very own.

Follow these steps
Base and Cap
- Cut first circular base to size with the router
- Cut cap to size with router
- Cut second round tier with the router to fit into PVC tube
- Cut 3rd tier (square) and round off with router
- Assemble onto each other
- Sand and varnish
Lamp
- Cut PVC pipe to size with jigsaw
- Cut out flap/door on the back
- Mark out where the LED lights will go
- Draw out design with pencil on outside
- Cut out design with jigsaw and multi-tool
- Sand all the rough edges
- Insert LED lights and attach plug
- Fit hinges and hook onto door/flap
- Glue Masonite as a “door stop” on pipe
- Attach door onto lamp
- Mount lamp onto base
