Craft It Yourself

Time Schedule

Mon 08:00 | Tue 12:00 | Wed 16:00 | Fri 20:00

Craft It Yourself taps into the very latest trends and techniques from the worlds of furniture, baking, ceramics and textiles. Fronted by Clemency Green, Ant Anstead and Robin Johnson, each with a craft background, they create beautiful and innovative objects, of varying degrees of difficulty and price. Whether it’s tile-painting, giant arm knitting, or the good old art of whittling, they leave no craft unturned.

Each week the presenters attempt to makeover a room in a different popular interior theme from Cuban to Boho. They are of course fighting for bragging rights on the best make while crafting beautiful and affordable items for the home, ranging from the super simple to the brilliantly ambitious.  They also visit master crafts people to road test crafts you can learn in a weekend, and on a budget.

Craft It Yourself helps people explore the joy of craft, as the growing love affair with making things by hand combines with the latest home interior trends.

Episode 4 – Colour Block, Resin and Screen-Printing

The team revive a dining room using a stylish colour block theme. They also work with resin, weaving and screen-printing, while Robin Johnson makes a bespoke silver ring in a day.

Episode 5 – Tie Dye, Rope Rug & Silk Pyjamas

The team go bold by crafting a living room with just one colour. There’s also tie-dyeing, a rope rug, paper-engineering, silk pyjamas and felt-making.

Episode 6 – Pendant Light, Blanket & Four Poster

The team craft-up a boring bedroom and make a pendant light. Clem gets all tied up in a supersized arm-knitted blanket, and trees topple when Robin crafts a four-poster bed.
