Toblerone Muffins

Makes 10

Ingredients

  • 625ml flour
  • 15ml baking powder
  • 160ml castor sugar
  • 125ml ground almonds
  • 90g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 310ml buttermilk
  • 150g Toblerone, chopped

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180⁰C.
  2. Sift the dry ingredients and set aside.
  3. Melt the butter and add the egg and buttermilk.
  4. Fold gently into the dry ingredients.
  5. Lastly, stir in the Toblerone,
  6. Place in pre-sprayed muffin tins and bake for about 20 minutes.
