Spicy Strawberry Sorbet
Yield: approximately 2 litres
Ingredients
- 6 cups fresh ripe strawberries, hulled
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 lemon, juiced
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of your favourite hot sauce
Method
- Puree berries with sugar with a blender, food processor or immersion blender.
- Add the lemon juice, salt and hot sauce and puree until very smooth.
- Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer’s directions.
