Grilled Calamari Tubes with Lemon Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
- Calamari Tubes
- Origanum
- Butter
- Garlic (crushed)
- Lemons
- Cream
- Beetroot Sprouts
- Parsley
- Fennel
Method:
- Clean the calamari tubes and season with salt, pepper and origanum
- In a hot frying pan, melt some butter with the crushed garlic
- Add the calamari tubes and grill for only a few minutes until opaque but still tender
- Add some freshly grated lemon zest and the juice of half a lemon over the calamari
- Add enough fresh cream to coat the calamari and create a sauce
- Serve the calamari on a bed of baby sprouts with a slice of lemon
