Instructions
  • Step 1: Cut a tag shape from a piece of thick white triplex board (you can use a travel tag as a template)
  • Step 2: Apply some Matte Multi Medium to a piece of plain smooth white cardstock using your Tim Holtz Collage Brush, and then adhere apiece of Melange Tissue Paper to the cardstock and smooth out using a brayer.
  • Dry using a heat tool. Adhere the Melange covered cardstock to the surface of the tag using double sided tape and cut around the tag.
  • Step 3: Using a sanding tool, sand the edges of the tag to reveal a white border around the tag.
  • Step 4: Insert and set your eyelet. Adhere a piece of smooth white cardstock to a piece of thick white triplex board and cut out a Tim Holtz Heart from your Movers and Shapers Mini Heart Die with your Base Tray.
  • Step 5: Using your Archival Ink Pad: Watering Can, and your Flourish Stamp (CMS257), stamp the flourish design over the surface of the heart.
  • Step 6: Using a blending tool and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad: Peacock Feathers, ink around the edges of the heart, working in towards the centre of the heart. Adhere the heart to the top of the tag, slightly aligned to the right hand side of the tag.
  • Step 7: Curl some wire string around a toothpick and cut into three pieces and adhere to the bottom of the heart using a glue gun.
  • Step 8: Spray about 24” of Tim Holtz Crinkle Ribbon using your Tim Holtz Distress Stain Spray: Hickory Smoke and scrunch in your hands while wet to crease the ribbon. Dry using a heat tool while in its creased state and then create your bow.
  • Step 9: Apply some Tim Holtz Distress Paint: Picket Fence to the surface of your metal Typed Token and Metal Word Band so that the paint fills the recessed areas of the words. Wipe away the excess paint from the surface of the metal pieces and allow to dry.
  • Step 10: Attach your Typed Token to your Bow using a Trinket Pin and then adhere your crinkle ribbon bow to the surface of the tag, just below the heart using a glue gun.
  • Step 11: Attach the metal word band to the bottom centre of the tag using a glue gun. Thread ribbon through your eyelet.
