TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The LG Life’s Good Experience competition runs from the 6 October 2009 to midnight on the 15 November 2009 on The Home Channel, both days inclusive.
2. Participants will be required to watch the LG LIFE’S GOOD EXPERIENCE television insert on The Home Channel on DSTV. A question will be asked, whereby a participant will be required to SMS “LG”, their answer and full name to #35810 to stand a change to win one of the following prizes each week for the duration of six weeks. (“Prizes”):
: one of two LG Direct Drive Washing Machines with model numbers F1403FDS5;
: one of two LG Refrigerators with model numbers GRL227LQQ;
: one of two LG SOLARDOMs with model numbers MP9483SL;
3. SMS’s are charged at R3.00 each. Free and bundled SMS’s do not apply;
4. There is no limit to the number of times entrants may enter;
5. An entry will be invalid for the following reasons:
: failure to sms all the necessary information;
: failure to answer the question correctly;
6. Entries for the weekly draw will be limited to all sms’s received for the two weeks immediately preceding the draw (ie: Tuesday to Monday).
7. Deadline for submission of entries will be midnight on the Monday immediately preceding the weekly draw;
8. Draws will take place weekly on a Monday and the winner will be announced on The Home Channel’s website:www.thehomechannel.co.za. At the end of the Competition, all winners will be announced on The Home Channel on DSTV.
9. Once the draw for that week has taken place, all the entries for the completed draw will be invalid for entry into the draw in the subsequent week. Should the entrant wish to re-enter the competition, the entrant will have to enter the competition again in the same manner for the new draw.
10. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into
11. Winners will be contacted by telephone to obtain their chosen address for delivery within South Africa. Should a winner not be contactable, LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd and/ or its promotional agency reserve the right to draw another winner.
12. Prizes will be delivered at no charge to the winner’s chosen address in South Africa. Should delivery be required outside South Africa, the winner will be required to pay delivery costs. The prize will be available within thirty days after the winner has been contacted by telephone;
13. All title and risk in the prize will be transferred to the winner upon delivery;
14. The prize cannot be amended, redeemable for cash or transferable.
15. Entry is open to anyone, 18 years or over with a valid Identity Document, except employees and their immediate family members of LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd, The Home Channel, or any marketing or promotional agency associated with this competition.
16. LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd, its agents and/or promoters.
17. LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to photograph the winners and use such photographs of the winners for publicity purposes including but not limited to posting such photographs on the LG website. LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd shall not be held liable for any damage of whatsoever nature arising or resulting from the use or submission or uploading of any material, photograph, picture, graphic or image during the competition.
18. LG Electronics S.A. (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any damage, death, loss or injury resulting from the use of any prize in this competition;
19. By submitting an entry, entrants accept the above terms and conditions.
